Covid-19 Letter

Dear Members,

We wanted to provide all our members an update given the situation that we are all in with the Coronavirus.

The good news is that we are proceeding as if our pool, and the opening date, are not impacted. We’ve been in close communication with our pool management company, Georgetown Aquatics, who has been in contact with Montgomery County, and so far things are business as usual.

Georgetown Aquatics is currently at our pool getting it ready for the summer. If for some reason Montgomery County changes our opening date, we will let you know immediately. While we all want this virus to go away, there is a chance that our pool could face a delayed opening date.

Let’s hope for the best. If for some reason we are hit with a lengthy delay in opening, the Board of Directors would implement a pro-rated 2020 dues system. It’s too early to give accurate projections right now.

Whether the pool opens on time, mid-season or sadly (and hope not) not at all; there are still costs associated with Georgetown Aquatics, utilities, grass cutting, etc.. must be paid. Those would be small costs in comparison to a fully open summer season, but we wanted all the members to be aware.

Our Early payment incentives are still on. Pay by April 1 and get 2 FREE Guest Cards (10 passes). Pay by May 1 and get 1 FREE Guest Card (5 passes).

Everyone stay healthy and we hope to see everyone in May. Fingers crossed.
